TITS. Technological Institute of Textile Sciences
The institute was established by the great entrepreneur and visionary, Dr. G D Birla, in 1943 under the Birla Education Trust. The textile factory attached to it helps in imparting practical training to the students. Today it is one of the leading institutes imparting training in textile technology in India.
TITS Bhiwani offers 4-year B.Tech programs in Textile Technology, Textile Chemistry, Computer Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electronics & Communication, Information Technology, and Fashion & Apparel. The B. Tech programs has total intake capacity of 320. Candidates for B. Tech programs are selected through All India Engineering Entrance Exam (AIEEE) conducted by CBSE and Common Engineering Entrance Test (CEET), Haryana.
It also offers post graduate program such as M. Tech in Textile Technology. The Candidate qualifying the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is considered for the admission for the course. with B.Tech (Textile Technology) degree with at least 55% marks in the aggregate and a minimum two year full Time working experience in a registered firm/company/industry/educational and research institute / any government department or Govt / autonomous organizations with in the relevant field with the self financing /sponsorship. Bsides the above programs, TITS Bhiwani also offers MBA program.
